This panoramic was taken at sunset; the balance is more precarious than you think. There is no contact at the "pinch."

The next image depicts a large splinter of wood, in the middle of which is a hole formed by the now absent knot of a branch. The splinter is balanced in the branches of a fallen tree.

Five rocks, five feet tall, five minutes before the evening winds. Roughly 170lbs in total.

Not a rock, but the entire base of a tree, inverted, and balanced. About 7 feet tall.
